Hobbits and their legendaries.

With the idea of only playing a few hours till David was to head to the gym with his friend, we pulled out the hobbits this morning. Dinged 45 pretty quickly, then proceeded to Rivendell to start the Forward quests to see the fellowship of Frodo and crew prepare then leave for the Misty Mountains. I find I’m odd that I’m more excited about Bill the Pony than I am the rest of the cast.

We were then able to slowly make our way through Eregion to the south and the entrance of the Walls of Moria. Simply put, two hobbits… non damage dealing type, we took many hours on these quests five levels above us. Most my songs were being resisted and the kills were very slow because of this. Slowly but surely we erked our way through and helped the dwarven expedition reopen the Moria gate. We encountered the Watcher for the first time inside the Black Pool, obtained our legendary weapons, then returned to Angmar to level up our weapons to 10 before we can continue the Moria questline.

Sought for a couple hours as scholar again. Finally was invited to a 19 sync in Quifim. After a long delay, the party wiped on the third fight. Puller pulled a sniper, and a worm spawned in the center of them and people started dropping one by one. Granted, this party… Everyone had /p lines in their macros for everything. Nothing new, very common for new players. But the ninja was unique in that he had 15 and 5 second announcements for his utsusemi, genuinely something I’ve never whitnessed before. The warrior puller, used that pull macro to spam bolts in battle. And when we wiped, no one had bothered to pick up reraise from the book, so I declined my own reraise, homepointed then disbanded. Just to be spammed by the entire party questioning why I did such a thing. And not in a logical sense, but in “you go because me pull sniper?” sense. Pachycerianthus commented it sounded like a caveman was talking to me.

Was going to duo with Pachy again after he showered and had dinner, meanwhile David and I went back to LOTRO while I waited. Eventually took so long for him to come back that I just called it a night on FFXI as was.

Maybe I’ll get SCH done tomorrow before dynamis. Doubtful, but one can hope… right?
