Picked up my samurai again now that scholar is complete. Started the day barely level 40, and am currently partied closing in on 45.
This morning I went on a mini shopping spree picking up Koryukagemitsu, Daihannya, Shinimusha Haidate, as well as finally turning my my cancer subligar for my Shinimusha Hara-ate. I don’t know if I made the right or best choices, but at the moment with quick research… they seem like the best available to me. In theory though, I’m set till 66 easily.
Ah, ding 45. Now I can sell my jujitsu gi back to the AH. Even though I like the way it looks… I want that inventory slot more!
Dharlo officially quit for good this time. I’m not obtaining his account again, but he did give me all his gil and several pieces of gear. It’s far more depressing than I had imagined it would be. The fucktard truly has been my best friend in the game for the past five years, and I had to very unceremoniously watch that chapter close via a few trades. Just he wait, I shall harass him on MSN with a whole new multitude of MMO banter, just out of spite.
I’ve also finally taken the time to start examining SpellCast XMLs to see if I can figure it out. On some jobs, where I have very specific sets that I like to trigger as needed and have full control, such as ninja and thief… I don’t know if I’ll use it… but today, using it on SAM, it’s been quite nice as it’s just that many less macros that I have to hit and pay attention to. I see potential, as well as frustration. So this is all up in the air and I’m still not altering my original macros yet, just simply moving my scripts folder .txt files to another directory for safe keeping.

Yea, it definitely is increasingly lonely… but I knew it would eventually happen in FFXI. Just kept trying to be naive and pretend I’d never see it personally myself.
