Five and a half years it has taken me to get this far. Despite the fact I’ve spent the past two and a half hours editing the PLD fight and this movie, I’m still not really convinced that I’ve really accomplished this. Am I really this nerdy? Have I really sunk so many years into this game? Is this goal finally achieved?
This cap has to be the ultimate, most time consuming, and asinine achievements in the game that I could actually complete. For anyone that doesn’t play FFXI; basically, you have to fight Maat 15 different times, on 15 different jobs that are all a minimum level of 66. The cap is definitely one of the very best in the game, and for anyone willing to put in the effort, via already being insane enough, it’s definitely worth the while. I just can’t really come to terms that I actually was that insane myself.
Most the fights, I managed to make out “flawlessly” in the sense, I only had to fight him once. Although I freely admit, some of those, I really won only by the skin of my teeth and shear luck. It was only my 15th, and final, that I had to fight him twice to acquire a win.
I just don’t believe it yet.
