I finally settled into wanting to actually build a bear set on Nadzia. Still not entirely sure why other than not feeling like putting forth the effort on another character (Felka) as far as gear, achievements, and reputation go. Where I haven’t entirely forgotten Felka, and I do poke at her out of boredom about once a week… She really feels overwhelming the amount of work I’d need to throw into her, just to catch up to Nadzia… and where I’m still trying to catch Nadzia up to Dominika.
Rough estimate is that I’ll need 555 [Emblem of Triumphs] just to buy a base tanking set. I will still need to acquire a necklace, belt and a weapon (maybe better boots than what I currently picked up for feral). Right now, all I have is [Staff of Trickery], and only because I hit greed instead of disenchant one run… then opted to keep it once I saw it hit my bags. I have over 170 emblems already stored up right now, give or take depending on if I’ll buy the i245 helm for Dom or not. I want to save all emblems first, and only buy after I have the amount needed, as I don’t need this stuff clogging my inventory right now.
Been playing with my UI a lot lately too. Right now, I’m playing around with Tukui UI, but heavily modified. I like the minimalistic bar at the bottom, but there’s been a lot of other features in the UI that just bothered me. I have yet to figure out how to successfully turn off the auto accept of invites and LFG dungeon finders. I have managed to return to using Pitbull unitframes, and Dominos for my bars. The rest are just additional addons I’ve always used and didn’t have to force edit the configuration file to make them work. I’m most likely going to revert back to using Combuctor for my bags again. As as neat and tidy their bags are, they don’t count how many of an item I have, or allow me to look at my bank/alt’s inventories while in the middle of nowhere. I’ve also had a slew of errors with it. Not sure if it’s my modifying, or the UI itself… but errors will overload and first night raiding with it in ICC10, it caused Deadly Boss Mods to completely quit working by the time we hit the Gunship (maybe earlier, but I failed to notice). Since returned to working, but still a massive annoyance.
Did go into Ulduar last night for the first time other than the first two bosses for the weekly raid quests. Was fun, but I wound up developing a migraine and had to ditch after Kologarn. We were aiming at achievements, and obtained all but Kologarn… and it was a lot of fun seeing new fights, new zones.
David has also been progressing really well on Cogswell. I still have him tag along on a lot of instances when I’m healing as Nadzia, but he’s been able to hold his own and PuG a lot of them himself as well. He’s still not pulling up the numbers we quite want out of him in raids yet, but he’s at least now hit capped… just a matter now of upping his spellpower and critical chances.
